Listening

It’s challenging when being around someone who isn’t listening to you, it can make you feel like they do not care about you, or your thoughts. In a time where families may be spending far more time together, it’s very easy for us to tune each other out, especially if we are stressed. It’s challenging to look at this time as a blessing for many of us, but think about the benefits, use this time to cherish the moments you have with your children, or loved one, life passes by so quickly that there are some wishing they had a moment like this in their lives to slow down and spend a few more moments with those they love. Don’t take the person next to you for granted and regret the missed opportunity you have been given. Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. Enjoy the slower moments in life, for these moments too, will pass by in the blink of an eye.
